Utilizing exclusive Micro-Pure® precoat filtration technology, it combines Micro-Pure® and a unique pleated filter membrane to effectively trap particles as small as 0.5 micron. The H-104 system is NSF/ANSI Standard 53 certified to reduce cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia by mechanical means, and also reduces lead to below EPA standards. It significantly improves water taste and odor by reducing chlorine. Each filter cartridge has a capacity of 1,000 gallons, equivalent to approximately 7,500 bottles of water, operating at a flow rate of 0.5 gallons per minute (gpm).
